Acting Class for Four to Six Year Olds

How an actor prepares for an audition is a very personal process. And when your little actor is still learning how to read, he needs a wee bit more help preparing. But, when the acting profession is a completely unfamiliar one, you also need help in guiding your child through that process. This two-day class is designed to give parents age appropriate methods that best facilitate the acting process. A parent/guardian is required to participate in the class with student.

Karen Ceesay is an actor, writer, producer, wife & mom who began her acting career at age ten. She has coached students’ auditions for Nickelodeon, Disney, ABC Family and various other film & television projects. Her credits include, ”Trouble with the Curve”, “Reed Between the Lines”, “Army Wives”, “Drop Dead Diva” and she was a guest on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” as a result of her performance in a “What Would You Do?” segment on ABC’s Primetime Live. Karen is a well-known comedic actress in the Atlanta community and was a main stage cast member of Whole World Theatre’s improvisation troupe. She has performed sketch & improv comedy for Castlerock Entertainment, Turner South and with Atlanta radio personality Ryan Cameron. She currently works on various film, television and voice-over projects both nationally and locally.

FOR ADULTS, THERE ARE ONGOING SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR March 2012!“On Camera Audition Prep with Michael H. Cole (a working ATL actor) is class recommended both by Talent Agencies and Casting Directors.You will be working from real sides from current auditions, self taping for auditions provided during the class time at no additional cost, guest speakers, flexibility with doing makeup’s … are just some of what the ON CAMERA AUDITION PREP CLASS is all about.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON 3-6pm begins March 4th. FULL
MONDAY EVENING 7:30-10:30pm begins March 5th. SEVERAL SPOTS STILL AVAILABLE

Cost is $95 a month. Space is extremely limited. Average class size is 8-10 students and will not exceed 12.

He has over 30 yrs. of experience in the film industry theatre. Michael was listed in 2002 edition of Who’s Who of American Teachers foracting instruction. Credits include Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns w/ Angella Bassett, Lynch Mob w/ Tony Darrow of the Soprano’s, Fate w/ Lee Majors, The Crazies, The Collection, Past Lives, Cruiser, What to Expect when Your Expecting & TV in Drop Dead Diva, Army Wives, One Tree Hill, Cruiser, Meet the Browns, The Crossing, Homeland, Teen Wolf, & Hall Mark Hall of Fame’s Front of the Class, Field of Vision & Crew 9.

He is the Artistic Dir. of a local theatre & teaches workshops & privates for Atlanta agencies. Michael’s aggressive teaching style is driven by his passionate belief that every actor deserves a chance
