Mae and Ash

Mae and Ash live together, play silly word games and keep score on a blackboard. And every once in a while, they go out on dates — with other people. They have one rule — they never meet each others dates. And it seems to work until Mae returns home to find Ash’s date, Kayla, still in their apartment.
Mistakes Were Made

Mistakes Were Made, set in rural upstate New York, tells the story of 9 year old Otelia. Otelia, a single child, lives with parents whose personal strife makes it difficult for them to notice her. She is caught in that unfortunate space of youth where things are without explanation, reality is evident, and action hard. In effort to help ease the tension at home, she offers to pick up the milk. This takes her on a personal voyage, traveling alone through the forest, to the a farm by her house. It is there she meets a farm hand with questionable content, and comes across a kitten who gets the brunt of her frustration. The end of her journey is ultimately unclear, when a strange man stops her on the road.
Social Butterfly

A 30-year-old American woman enters into a teenage party in the South of France. Some of the guests wonder who she is and what she is doing there.
Sahasi Chori (Brave Girl)

BHUMIKA, a 13-year-old Nepali girl, travels with her family friend KRISHNA from her Himalayan home to her first job in the city. Leaving the village begins a fateful journey of unexpected events in an unfamiliar world. When Krishna suddenly asks her to cross the border with him to India, taking her further and further away from home, Bhumika must ask herself what she’s willing to sacrifice for the good of both her family and Krishna’s.
Sweet, Sweet Country

Living in a small Southern town, 20 year-old refugee Ndizeye struggles to support not only herself, but the family she left behind in a Kenyan refugee camp. Her struggle becomes so much more when her family literally shows up at her doorstep.
