A Little About Your Instructor…
An EMMY® nominated writer for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series Writing for “All My Children”- Ms. Collier is a veteran television writer, with credits on One Life to Live & Port Charles. She was Story Editor for the film – “Native New Yorker” which won the Toyota Scion Fund and pinned the screenplay “Get the Show On the Road” a semi- finalist in the Tribeca Screenwriting Festival. She has authored four plays produced throughout the east coast. In addition, Ms. Collier has produced several short media projects for NBC/Bravo Diversity on the Set project throughout the USA. She served as Producer and Writer for the documentary “Charge it to the Game: The Effects of Gun Violence in Brooklyn” receiving the Honored Feature in the Women of Color Film Festival, NYC & Doc Nation. Presently, Ms. Collier makes her home in New York City and is a Freelance Producer & Writer for Al Roker Entertainment and several film/production companies – creating new TV shows and documentaries.
