Ballet Boot Camp Workshop Sat. May 14 at 2pm at Dance 411!
GET FIT FOR SUMMER SWIM SUIT SEASON!  BALLET TONES AND STRENGHTHENS, CREATING LONG, LEAN MUSCLES IN ALL PARTS OF THE BODY.

It is time for the premiere of the Ballet Boot Camp Workshop at Dance 411 on Saturday May 14 at 2pm.  All levels welcome.  Hope to see you there!  
Want a great strengthening and toning workout? Try Ballet Boot Camp. This class is structured to build long lean muscle. In this class, you will gain strength through your body, arms, back, core, bottom and legs. It is also designed to build a sense of balance and flexibility. It is divided into strengthening exercises both on the floor and standing, stretching exercises to lengthen and tone muscle, and short combinations across the floor using ballet foundational steps. We will use a mix of slow and fast beats to keep the class energized.  Open to all levels!

Learn Ballet from Jamie Horban! Jamie is excited to be returning to Atlanta for this special one time workshop at her old home Dance 411!     She trained in Chicago for many years in  chechetti ballet, jazz, tap, modern, tango, flamenco, hip-hop, Musical Theater, acrobatics, Belly dance,   African dance, salsa and Latin.  She has trained at Evanston School of Ballet, Ruth Page Dance Center, Lou Conte Dance Studio, Ellis du Boulet, Chicago Ballet, Gus Giordano, Joel Hall Dance Center.  She graduated from Northwestern University with a bs in dance and film.  She has danced with numerous dance companies including Lyric Opera of Chicago, Dance Chicago, White Oak Dance Project, and Latin American Dance Company.   She has taught at Atlanta Ballet,  Interlochen Arts Academy, Korean Dance Company,Gold’s Gym, Northlight Theater, and Ballet Legere just to name a few.   She has choreographed for many dance companies, theaters and production companies around the United States including Interlochen Arts, Atlanta Ballet Pre-Pro Division,  Dance Chicago, The Chicago Cultural Center,  CK Dance Company, Northlight Theater, Metropolis Theater, Bailiwick Theater, Ballet Legere, Northwestern University, and the Actor’s Gymnasium. Jamie is artistic director of Solestance Productions, producing festivals annually around the country. The festival and Jamie have been  featured in the Chicago Tribune, Creative Loafing, The Chicago Reader, The Dailiy Herald, Pioneer Press, as well as on WGN morning news and WTTW Chicago.  She is currently traveling up and down the East Coast choreographing and teaching in different states.
