Are you a beginning director, or seeking to become a better one? Join us for an informative introduction to the basics of Film Editing – specially designed for beginning and established Directors. Sure you can just hire the best editors around, but taking the time to learn what to expect and how to prepare for post production and the editing process is the best way to maximize your excellent editor. Whether you’re producing or directing a short, documentary or narrative film, you don’t want to miss this 4-hour workshop, which includes:

JOSHUA M. PELTIER is an award winning editor, videographer and director. He hails from Kansas City, MO, graduated from Fisk University and attended Howard University’s graduate Film program. He has been an Editing Instructor at Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Howard University, and the Multi-Media Training Institute.  He is currently the director and editor of the Harmony in Life Concert Series.  His editor’s perspective has enhanced his storytelling and work as a director, and will not only help you prepare to for the editing process, but also get a better grasp of your story long before you shoot your first frame.
